Valentino is named for its founder, the now-legendary Valentino Garavani, who was born in the Italian town of Voghera in 1932.
While still a student, this incredibly creative individual won the famous international design competition International Wool Secretariat. This gained him the opportunity to work with the great Guy Laroche at the French fashion house of Jean Desses.
Valentino’s philosophy is straightforward. He once quipped, “I know what women want.” “They want to be attractive.” In 1960, he launched a salon in Rome’s Via Condotti and debuted his first collection, which was a huge hit. It even drew the attention of Elizabeth Taylor, who was filming in Italy at the time and became a longtime fan of Valentino’s art.
Valentino also began producing luxury perfumes in the late 1980s, first in conjunction with Procter & Gamble and then with Puig. They are sensual, exquisite, outlandish, passionate, and daring. The bottles need special consideration as well. The Valentina Eau de Parfum container, for example, with its black pearl and silver ring, might be regarded a work of art in and of itself.
Valentino collaborated and continues to collaborate with top perfumers such as Ilias Ermenidis, Francoise Caron, Alberto Morillas, Givaudan, Antoine Lie, and Cecile Matton to create the perfumes. Valentino understands that it is impossible to satisfy the most discerning clientele of any age. His broad collection is suitable for both young women and elderly guys.
To round things up, Valentino also produces high-quality shower gels, body lotions, shaving balms, lipsticks, and other cosmetics.
The Valentino brand will appeal to anyone who believes that life should be lived to the fullest, who does not do anything half-heartedly and never settles for less, who wants to emphasize their style correctly, and who values exclusivity and social significance.
